What does the term Ticket Broker refer to?
Posted by TicketSupply Support
A Ticket Broker can be best defined as "a person who is hired for a charge to negotiate contracts, sales or purchases." That is exactly what a ticket broker does. They buy tickets directly from the person selling them, hoping to sell them and make a profit. The broker loses money if they cannot sell the tickets or if the market decreases. The other option ticket brokers have is to take the tickets on consignment and retain a part of the profits if they sell them. In either case, they are the link between the seller and the buyer of the tickets.
